Our boutique Studio City office was personally designed by Dr. Sands and brought to life by award-winning architect John Reed. The facility features high-tech treatment rooms, dedicated in-house sterilization stations, flat screen TVs, music, and headphones to help patients relax, and fresh pillows and blankets for patient comfort during longer treatment sessions.
Dr. Sands regularly volunteers her time with MEND (Meet Each Need With Dignity) and Give Back A Smile, in association with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where she helps domestic violence survivors reclaim new smiles and self-esteem through free cosmetic dental work.
Maria is a mother of three and one of the five million Americans who experience domestic violence annually. As the result of a domestic dispute, Maria lost a front and side tooth, making it difficult for her to find work as going for a job interview became nerve-wracking and stressful.
With no financial support, Maria struggled to provide for her children. She was referred to Dr. Sands by the Give Back A Smile program and she received two dental implants allowing her to smile with confidence. Maria received her new smile in 2015 and has now entered the workforce.
Positive patient outcomes are crucial to Dr. Sands.
She treats patients according to three central values:
Dr. Sands brings experience, training, and insight to her cosmetic and preventive dentistry.
Dr. Sands is dedicated to ensuring her patients receive world-class treatment every visit.
Dr. Sands works closely with every patient to personally manage their experience and outcome.
